Supporting the communities where we work
As a company, our ethos is to engage fairly and openly with communities wherever we are working. We live by this principle and support as many good causes and organisations as possible.
We also try and give back to the next generation of talent by hosting work experience places; as well as being an active supporter and member of Women in Property.
The charities and good causes we support include:
- Hilltop School, Rotherham – we supported the expansion of this special day school for pupils with severe and profound and/or multiple learning difficulties through a pro bono campaign of engagement and consultation.
- York Design Awards – we offer our professional help to this annual awards initiative, which celebrates the best in York’s built environment every year.
- Yorkshire Children’s Charity – we have actively helped this charity with its Winter Essentials campaign, helping children in need across the region.
- Ilkley Beer Festival – we have supported this annual event, run by Ilkley Round Table, for a number of years. It raises thousands of pounds for good causes every year.
- York Sports Club – we’re a current sponsor and have helped the club raise vital funds for new facilities.
- Carers Leeds – we are a proud supporter of this charity, which provides information, advice and support to unpaid adult and parent carers across Leeds
- York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce – we have been active members of the Chamber and the York and North Yorkshire Property and Economic Forum for a number of years.
In addition to these good causes, we have worked successfully on various charitable and community projects over recent years including The Island Children’s Charity, Aspire Leeds and The Arcade, in Dewsbury.
