Chester City Gateway

Situation: LCR, with Cheshire West and Chester Council, are leading a high-profile masterplanning project to regenerate strategic land in Chester City Centre.

Task: Extensive community consultation and engagement on numerous derelict and underutilised sites around Chester Station.

Action: Running city-wide consultation events, including community and resident group meetings. We also created a website and engaged with key stakeholders in local communities.

Result: The positive support has ensured that the development framework was adopted by the council to inform and enable future city centre development.
