Derby Market Place Regeneration

Situation: This multi-million project will be transformational for Derby City Centre and will regenerate a key site around the Market Place.

Task: To undertake public consultation and secure support for the new hotel, library, civic building and grade-A office space on the old Assembly Rooms site, which has been vacant for over 10 years.

Action: Two rounds of consultation, including significant stakeholder engagement with Derby Youth Council, accessibility groups, volunteer and charity organisations and key business groups.

Result: Our work has ensured meaningful engagement was demonstrated on the planning application. Further engagement and consultation is now planned.
