Lancashire Cricket Club

Situation: Development of a new high-quality professional and community cricket facility for Lancashire Cricket on Green Belt land owned by Lancashire County Council.

Task: To engage with neighbouring residents, local stakeholders and politicians to support the development proposals.

Action: COVID restrictions meant that substantial local consultation needed to be done virtually. Hyper-local neighbour concerns were identified and addressed where possible.

Result: Planning approval was achieved in 2023 and the completed site has now been handed over to Lancashire Cricket.
