Stretford

Situation: Regeneration of 1960s Stretford Mall, creating a new town centre consisting of retail, leisure and residential development with public squares and open spaces.

Task: Leading stakeholder engagement, communications and community consultation to deliver a masterplan and outline planning approvals for our client Bruntwood Works and Trafford Council.

Action: Holding two large-scale events in the shopping centre and launching an interactive virtual consultation website, ensuring views of the local community are fed into the proposals.

Result: Outline planning approval achieved. This masterplan is now being implemented through a series of Reserved Matters planning applications.
